Want to see your film on the big screen? Now is your chance! Calling both feature length and short films that capture the essence of surf culture, surf action, surf locations or diversity in the water.

Burleigh Heads session
Sessions Surf Festival will be down at Burleigh Heads on 30 May, 2026, for a free, open-to-the-community event. We will host a unique surf contest, with multiple categories for surfers and spectators to enjoy. The fun won’t stop when the contest ends; join us at the beach bar and stage for live music and entertainment into the evening
Film Festival
28 and 29 of May, the Mondrian Gold Coast will serve as our hub, showcasing the best new surf films, panel discussions with world-class athletes and creatives, live music, and more.
Sessions Art Exhibit
WHEN: 26 may, 6:00pm - 9:00pm
With works from multiple artists across different mediums, live music, food and drinks the Sessions art exhibit will bridge the gap of traditional surf culture and art.
Sessions Masterclass Series
WHEN: 15 may
Filmmaker Taylor Steele will host the Sessions Masterclass Series on Surf Filmmaking.
